I wanted to become a Member of Youth Parliament because I believe in the power of young voices. So many crucial decisions are being made that will impact us for years to come, and it’s simply unfair if we aren’t part of that process.

I’m deeply passionate about creating equal opportunities for everyone, regardless of background or circumstance, because everyone deserves a fair chance to succeed. Adequate funding for education is key to this; schools and students need proper support to build a brighter future for all. I’m committed to advocating for a system that listens to young people’s concerns and takes meaningful action in response.

Fun fact: my favorite hobby is playing the piano!

I joined Youth Parliament, in order to widen the representation amongst the organisation in Hampshire. I believe that those in a position of authority and that have the ability to implement change, should reflect the people in their constituencies. I also love to get involved in politics on a wider scale, and I believe the skills and opportunities the YP provides, enables me to do so. I am quite confident in nature and therefore, I believe I should use my voice to effectuate meaningful change, as well as provide a different insight.
