Member of Youth Parliament wins award at the Pride of Andover Awards
The Member of Youth Parliament for North West Hampshire, Dmitrijs, won Young Person of the Year at the Pride of Andover Awards, on Tuesday 26th October 2021, after being nominated by members of the public and then subsequently shortlisted by the POA Committee, headed up by Councillor Karen Hamilton, Councillor at Test Valley Borough Council.
Dmitrijs said, “Thank you so much to the amazing people around me who have supported me continuously throughout all the ups and downs, you are incredible. This is for all the young people of the town - I’ll keep fighting for you, and for your voice.”
